My favorite source these past 6 month has been “Ask Augustin”, available on Augustine Hadelich YouTube Channel. The channel also has recordings of various pieces that he recorded playing both violin part and accompaniment.

Oh, and this video too! So fun! https://youtu.be/9yIl0oKt5Ek

Clarinet

https://upbeatmusicapp.com/     This is a great, easy to use app for students to play together and create a recording.  The free version is limited to quartets, but there is a revision coming Sept. 4 that will allow up to 16 participants with their paid service.  It was written during the covid time by 2 people who had graduated from Johns Creek High School several years ago.

The Clarineat Podcast   https://www.clarineat.com/  Many very interesting interviews with famous clarinet players and musicians.  The latest is "Beyond Talent: Creating a Successful Career in Music" with Angela Myles Beeching

https://jennyclarinet.com/    Jenny Maclay has a blog and weekly newsletter with lot of interesting articles about clarinet.

YouTube Channel of Earspasm Music  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFG3e7QwIryPY8c-dDAoIVQ   This is a fantastic collection of videos by Michael Lowenstern, who is a fantastic clarinet and bass clarinet player.  His videos are educational, always very enjoyable, and many times funny.

Rodriguez Musical Services is the best source for new and used clarinets and clarinet repair.  https://rodriguezmusical.com/   It is owned by Heather and Alcides Rodriguez.  Alcides is the bass clarinetist in the Atlanta Symphony, and a fantastic player.  He personally goes over all their repairs and the clarinets that they sell.

Weiner Music    https://shop.weinermusic.com/    and Woodwind Brasswind  https://www.wwbw.com/   are both good sources for ordering reeds and accessories on the web.  If you get on their email list, you will often get discount codes for 5 – 15% off.
